| How To Restore Windows Phone System |
For Windows Phone users who experienced problems, either due to hang or corrupt the system, Microsoft has provided a recovery application, Windows Device Recovery Tool. Users can restore the troubled Windows Phone system to its original state. This application must be installed on a computer running Windows 7 and above.
Not only that, this application can also be used if you fail when upgrading to Windows 10, or for you who are trying to upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile version of the Insider Preview and want to return it to its original state (Windows 8.x). Before doing it, make sure to backup your data because this process will erase all existing data. Here's how:
1. Download and install Windows Device Recovery Tool via link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=525569.
2. Plug the USB data cable from the smartphone to the computer. The application will detect the type of Lumia used. If the smartphone was not detected by the application, select My phone was not detected option.
3. Click the smartphone is detected. Wait a few moments to perform the smartphone information. Will perform applications that can be downloaded to return to the previous operating system. To continue click Reinstall software or install software.
4. The application will warn to backup important data (if any). Click Continue and the process will take place depending on internet connection as well as the amount of data held.
5. If successful, the application will show the text Operation Completed Successfully, click Finish and smartphones will reboot the system before returning to Windows Phone 8.1.
