The Hollywood producer, Arnon Milchan, confessed that he is an Israel spy. He revealed his role as a spy.
"I've done it for my nation, and I'm proud of it, " he said in an Israeli TV investigation program, Uvda.
Milchan was famous for his famous movies : Pretty Woman. Fight Club, and LA Confidential. Milchan has produced more than 120 movies, being collaboration with some top directors, Martin Scorsese, Roman Polanski and Oliver Stone.
He admitted that a spy is his side job. But, "if people know how many times I have to risk my own life, again, and again," he said.
The producer with US$ 4 billion fortunes confessed that he was recruited by Simon Peres, Israel President - in 1960s. He was asked to help Bureau of Scientific Relation - an organization that was created to supply Israel nuclear program.
Milchan said he have revealed his secret because he felt being maligned in Hollywood all the time. He was supposed to sell guns in global market. "I have to explain that I am not a gun monger for half an hour."
The Israel has not commented about Milchan's confession.
Not Surprised
For common people, Milchan's confession would be surprising, but some Hollywood figures did not shock at all. Born Killers and Transformers' producer, Don Murphy, said that spy and producer have many resemblances.Tricia Jenkins, The CIA in Hollywood's writer said, "Their plays are same, They are liars and good at making stories."
Israel citizens were skeptics with Milchan's confession. "That is an exaggerating thing, " said Haaretz's correspondence, Amir Oren.
