Having long, shimmering and pretty hair is a pride for every person. So does Rapunzel, figure in the famous story. However, beautiful hair can also be a blessing to others, as done by Charlie Tillotson.
Charlie Tillotson is a 6-year-old girl who comes from the Sidmouth region, Devon. He has kept his hair for years to reach 2 feet in length, or about 60.96 cm.
One day Tillotson told her father that she wants to cut her hair cut that never before since she was born, and turn it into wigs for children with cancer. The Tillotson idea arose because he was intrigued after seeing a documentary about children with cancer.
The father welcomed Tillotson's idea and contacting a cancer foundation in his city. It turns Tillotson's beautiful hair into a wig and sold for more than £ 1,400! Tillotson did not think the amount of donation is so large. She had hoped hair valued over £ 500.
Not only proud because his hair was able to help many children with cancer, Tillotson was also honored to be a princess in the annual carnival Sidmouth. Tillotson will appear with a glittery dress and the crown for her kindness.
What does this little Rapunzel may seem simple. Her long, beautiful hair is no longer adorn his head, but the pride he felt would continue to exist for the rest of his life.
