13 Future Technology Predictions

Cisco predicts that in 2020, USD 10 million PCs have the ability of a human brain. In 2030, the PC ability will be similar with the ability of the one village's human brains. Dave Evans Chief Futurist Cisco IBSG Innovations Practice makes 13 top future technology predictions that will occur in the future. Here's the full list of future technology predictions :

1. In 2029, 11 petabytes of storage can store DVD-quality video being played for 600, 24 hours a day costs just US $ 100.
2. The first commercial quantum computer will be available in mid-2020.
3. In 2020, US $ 1,000 PCs will have the processing power of a human brain.
4. In 2030, the ability to process US $ 1000 PC for  will be balanced with the ability of one village's human brains.
5. By 2050 (assuming a global population of 9 billion), the ability to process US $ 1000 PC will be similar with the ability of all human brains on earth.
6. Today, we know 5% of what we will know in the next 50 years. In other words, in 50 years, 95% of what we know will be found in previous years.
7. The world's data will increase six times in the next two years, while corporate data will increase five-times.
8. In the year 2020 throughout the world, each person on average will store 130 terabytes of personal data (today an average of 128 gigabytes).
9. In 2020, there will be more devices than people online.
10. With IPv6, there will be enough addresses for every star in the known universe to have 4.8 trillion addresses.
11. By 2020, universal language translation will be commonplace in every device.
12. By 2025, teleportation at the particle level will begin to occur.
13. In 2030, the planting of an artificial brain can be implemented.
