One way of diet introduced in the health world is a paleo diet. There are many ways of diets, and we just choose the one most suitable way of dieting with us. This time we will discuss about the paleo diet or cavemen diet.
Paleo diet is a diet that has been known since long ago, and that's why this diet is also called the Cavemen diet. People used to implement this diet to maintain health and to lose weight.
This diet is hard to do because the food choices are limited.
Some of the paleo diet's food :
- Meat (chicken, beef, sheep, horses, or pigs) that are grass-fed and free from chemicals.
- Meat of hunted animals such as deer, birds and other wildlife
- Eating eggs should not be more than six a week
- Wild fruit commonly found in forests, such as strawberry, mango, melon and so on
- Vegetables that do not contain carbohydrates such as green vegetables, asparagus, onions and spices
- Nuts and seeds such as almonds, peanuts, cashews, and pumpkin seeds, and healthy oils such as olive oil
Foods to avoid are all kinds of processed foods, vegetables which contains carbohydrates, sweet and salty foods, rice, flour and milk
